WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The completion of the 2023 fall semester saw 39 student-athletes earn Dean's List honors at Salem College. A student must maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average in a minimum of 12 courses to earn this distinction.

The list of 2023 fall semester Dean's List was comprised of 157 total students, including the 39 student-athletes. Additionally, 17 student-athletes completed the 2023 fall semester with straight A's. Among those were Dionne Sampson, who received a pair of A's in her graduate degree pursuit. 

The softball and volleyball teams lead the way with the most student-athletes on the Dean's List with 11, followed by soccer (eight) and tennis (five). Swimming had four student-athletes among Dean's List honorees, while basketball finished with two.
