Coach Long hires Ken Hunt as softball assistant coach

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College softball team has hired Ken Hunt as an assistant coach according to Head Coach Scott Long. Hunt comes to Salem after a successful coaching career at High Point Christian Academy (HPCA), where he was the head coach from 2005-2009. Hunt also has spent the past twenty-five years traveling the world with his men's fastpitch division softball teams.

Hunt graduated from North Carolina State University. He compiled a 55-26 record at HPCA, and also initiated a junior varsity program. Hunt has played against teams from Mexico, Canada, and Venezuela with his softball teams. He is also a member the National Softball Fastpitch Coaches Association.
