North Davidson High's Crumley commits to play softball at Salem

Lexington, NC-The Salem College softball team is excited to announce that Briana Crumley has committed to play softball at Salem next fall. Crumley played softball for Coach Mike Lambros at North Davidson High School.

Crumley has played varsity at North Davidson all four years. She had an excellent 2013 year, where she won several awards. She was an All-South Region, All-North Carolina, All-District, All-Conference, and All-County selection. She was also the winner of the William Vance Fulp Award in 2013.

She helped lead the Knights to the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A State Runner-up in 2011. They were in the state playoffs every year. Crumley has played club softball for the Carolina Stars Elite, Carolina Attitude, and Carolina Stars. 

Crumley has excelled in academics at North Davidson. She is a member of the National Honor Society, National Arts Honor Society, and the Hope Club. She also was a NC Governor's School Nominee for visual arts.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
