Seneca High's Wade commits to play softball at Salem

Seneca, SC-The Salem College softball team is pleased to announce that Zoe Wade has committed to play softball at Salem next fall. Wade played softball for Coach Rick Pate at Seneca High School in South Carolina.

Wade is a three-year letter winner for the Bobcats. She helped the team reach the SC Upstate Championship in 2013 and to the AAA Region Championship. She also plays club softball for S.C. Elite. Wade is a three-year manager for the wrestling team.

She is also an excellent student at Seneca High. Wade is a three year member of the honor roll, and she is in the Beta Club. She spends a lot of time volunteering at a local food pantry and veterinary clinic. She is the daughter of Maureen and Todd Wade.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
