Softball celebrates North Davidson's Coach Lambros

Softball celebrates North Davidson's Coach Lambros

Welcome, NC-Current Salem softball players, Maggie Fritts and Briana Crumley, went to celebrate their former high school coach last night at North Davidson. Mike Lambros earned his 800th win with a 14-0 victory over Mt. Tabor. He is North Carolina's all-time winningest coach in softball. Fritts and Crumley both graduated from North Davidson last year.

Salem Head Coach Scott Long said, "Mike Lambros is one of the great ambassadors for softball in this community and for the state of North Carolina.  For him to reach 800 victories means that he has made an impact and a difference for a number of young ladies who play the sport of softball.  I am happy to have two outstanding young ladies who played for him here at Salem.  This milestone could not happen to a better coach and mentor in softball."
