Galioto commits to play softball at Salem

Indian Trail, NC-The Salem College softball team is excited to announce that Stephanie Galioto has committed to play softball at Salem next fall. Galioto played high school softball for Constance Orr at Porter Ridge High School. She also played club softball for Jeff Stovel with Magic Softball. The Salem College softball team won the Great South Tournament in 2015 with a 21-16-2 overall record.

Galioto was part of conference championship teams at Porter Ridge in 2012, 2014, and 2015. Porter Ridge also won the 4A North Carolina State Championship in 2012. She was a 2015 all-conference member and played all four years on the varsity team. She also ran cross country one year.

Galioto hopes to major in business management at Salem. She was a member of the yearbook staff, the "True" Club, and she was a FRLA Officer at Porter Ridge. She is the daughter of Marie and Joe Galioto.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
