Nolan commits to play softball at Salem

Burlington, NC-The Salem College softball team is excited to announce that Hannah Nolan has committed to play softball at Salem next fall. Nolan played high school softball for Martha Moss at River Mill Academy. She also played club softball for Ricky Marinez with Knockouts Softball. The Salem College softball team won the Great South Tournament in 2015 with a 21-16-2 overall record.

Nolan is a four-time River Mill Academy Athlete of the Year. She has been selected to the NC Softball Coaches Association District 5-1A All-District team twice. She is a four year all-conference member, and a two-time conference player of the year. She is a pitcher, infielder, and outfielder. 

Nolan also excels off of the field. She is a member of the National Honor Society and won academic achievement awards in science and vocal performance. She is the daughter of Christy Moss and David Nolan. 

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
