Softball adds Sarah White to incoming class

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College softball team is excited to announce that Sarah White has committed to play softball at Salem next fall.The Salem College softball team won the Great South Tournament in 2015 with a 21-16-2 overall record.

White, originally from Northern Virginia, grew up in Georgia and the Raleigh, N.C. area. In Raleigh, she played travel ball and played two seasons with the Crush before moving to the NC Challengers.

White played varsity tennis for three years at Middle Creek High School for Coach Rhonda Blanchard. White holds a black belt in Karate and is an accomplished Jazz guitarist. She will be graduating from Middle Creek High School with a 4.3 GPA and plans to major in Exercise Science with a minor in Women's Studies.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
