Briana Crumley was selected to the 2017 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-Atlantic Region Third Team for her play this year with the Salem College softball team. The USA South West Division First Team selection led the Spirits to a 27-16 record and share of the USA South West Division Regular Season Championship.
Crumley played first-base for the Spirits until the end of the regular season when an injury forced her out of the tournament. She led the Spirits with a .455 batting average, 7 home-runs, and 45 runs batted in. She was tied for first in the nation for hardest to strikeout, with zero strikeouts all season.
