Raleigh, NC-The Salem College softball team split games in their second day in Raleigh. They defeated Randolph College 4-0 before falling in a close 3-2 game to Randolph Macon. Nalee Jacobs picked up the win on the mound against Randolph. Salem is now 7-5 overall.

The Spirits will play at Averett next weekend to open up their USA South East Division conference play.
