Winston-Salem, NC- The Meredith Avenging Angels visited the Salem College Spirits Monday night in the Spirit Coliseum. The non-conference game was played in front of a full set of bleachers and the pace was fierce from the tip-off.

Coach Jackson regrouped the Spirits in the locker room and a new team and attitude appeared on the court in the second half. Jones moved to the middle and scored a quick five points. Salem pulled within 7 points at 11:59 left when Casey Jones stole the ball, threw a quick pass to Alex Ervin (So, Morganton, NC) who then fed the ball to Michala Michaux (So, Morganton, NC). Michaux hit a short jumper making it 45-52 and Meredith called a timeout.
