Northern Nash High's Oldham commits to play basketball at Salem

Nashville, NC-The Salem College basketball team is excited to announce that Jordan Oldham has committed to attend Salem next fall. Oldham was a center for Northern Nash High School in Nashville, NC. The Salem basketball team is coming off a season where they were both the Great South Tournament and Regular Season Runner-Up.

Oldham was an honorable mention all-conference performer as both a freshmen and a senior. She has been a North Carolina Scholar Athlete for the past two years.  Oldham helped her team win their conference championship in 2011 and 2012. The team also made the NCHSAA 3-A State Semifinals.

Oldham has been a member of the National Honor Society. She also won the Semper Fidelis Award for Musicianship. While at Northern Nash, Oldham was in the marching band, concert band, Key Club, and she was a Knight Writer.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
