Seventy-First High's Bush commits to play basketball at Salem

Fayetteville, NC-The Salem College basketball team is excited to announce that Alexiahonna Bush has committed to attend Salem next fall. Bush was a forward for Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville, NC. The Salem basketball team is coming off a season where they were both the Great South Tournament and Regular Season Runner-Up.

Bush earned three varsity letters for basketball with the Falcons. She helped her team win the conference tournament this past year, and they were the 4A North Carolina East Sectional Champions. Bush also played AAU ball for the Fayetteville Warriors from 2010 to 2013. 

Bush was a member of the National Honor Society at Seventy-First. She is the daughter of Shirley Bush and Larry Dennis.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence for women.
