Weeks 6 - 8 Basketball Player of the Week – junior guard Satavia Taylor
Taylor averaged 19.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, 3 steals per game and 1.5 blocks per game as Salem split contests with D-II Wingate (L, 77-65) and conference foe Huntingdon (W, 70-49) over the break. Taylor drilled 15-of-28 shots from the field in the process for a stellar 54% success rate. This is the third time on the young season that Taylor has earned the GSAC Player of the Week distinction.

The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
