GREENSBORO, N.C. – Zykeya Henderson had a game-high 19 points in Salem College’s 80-27 victory over Bennett College on the road Thursday night.

After four scoreless minutes to start the game, the Spirits were up 37-13 at the half. Salem came out strong in the second half and never turned back.

Satavia Taylor scored 17 points and Jasmine Shabazz added 15 points with 11 rebounds. Jordan Oldham had a game-high 15 rebounds, nine of which were offensive. The Spirits out-rebounded Bennett 65-31.

Bennett’s Aaliyah Carter had 12 points. Q. Brown added 10 with a team-high six rebounds.

The Spirits next play, away, at Warren Wilson College at 7:00 pm on January 21.
