Winston-Salem, NC-Despite 31 points from Quantashea Lewis, Salem fell to Lynchburg 87-58. Lewis was 12-16 from the field in the game. Salem falls to 2-9 on the year, while Lynchburg improves to 8-5.

Lynchburg jumped out early on the Spirits with a 15-0 to start the game. Lynchburg went into the break with a 46-22 advantage. Salem came out much hotter from the field in the second half. The Spirits went on an 11-1 run to start the half. The remainder of the game was back and forth.

Lewis added 5 rebounds in the game. Zykeya Henderson finished with 10 points. Alexihonna Bush led the team with 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Olivia DeFrancesco led Lynchburg with 22 points. 

The Spirits return to action on Saturday when they travel to Tennessee to take on Johnson. Salem defeated Johnson 65-58 at Salem on December 6th.
