Basketball dominates Wesleyan in Regular Season Finale

Macon, GA-The Salem College basketball team won their fifth game in a row to finish the regular season. The Spirits defeated Wesleyan in dominating fashion with a 74-42 victory. Kristal Lollis, playing in her final regular season game, had a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. The Spirits improve to 8-11 overall and 4-0 in the Great South.

Salem cruised through the entire game. They held a 51-35 advantage on the boards. Salem also forced 24 Wesleyan turnovers.

Quantashea Lewis had a game-high 25 points. She added 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Sabrina Shepherd has 11 points and 6 rebounds, and MiKayla Seivers had 7 points and 5 assists. Lewis and Hannah McBride each had 5 steals.

Seeding for next the Great South Tournament next weekend will be announced this week. The tournament will be held at Agnes Scott.
