Basketball set to defend Great South Championship in Georgia

ATLANTA, Ga. - The 2015 GSAC Women's Basketball Tournament is set to get underway this Friday on the campus of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga. where Salem College will try to win back-to-back conference titles.

Salem (8-11) is the second-seeded team in the tournament behind Finlandia (11-9). Pine Manor (11-9) is the third-seeded team. 

The seeds for the tournament, determined via the Massey Ratings, are as follows:

1. Finlandia
2. Salem
3. Pine Manor
4. Agnes Scott
5. Wesleyan

Agnes Scott and Wesleyan will face off on Friday at 2pm EST for the chance to advance to face top seed Finlandia on Saturday in the semifinals at 4pm EST. Salem and Pine Manor will duel in Saturday's first semifinal at 2pm EST. Sunday's title game is set for 1pm EST.
