Winston-Salem, NC-Head Coach Britni Mohney has announced that she has hired Krystal Barrett as a graduate assistant for the basketball program at Salem College. Barrett comes to Salem after playing four years at NC State, where she graduated this past spring.
Barrett was a captain for the 2014-2015 Wolfpack team, and she won the Secretary of Defense award for the team four times. She also has her jersey retired from Skyline High School. She majored in Sport Management at NC State.
During spring of her senior year, Barrett did a coaching practicum as an assistant coach for the NC State basketball program. She helped assist coaches with practices and drills. She also scouted and helped plan for the team. Barrett was also a camp counselor for the NC State Women's Basketball Camp for three years.
