Greensboro, NC-After a close first half, Greensboro College was able to pull away from Salem on the basketball court in a 78-47 win. Sabrina Shepherd led the team with 17 points. Salem falls to 2-5, while the Pride improve to 2-4.

The game was close the entire first half, as Greensboro held a slim 29-27 lead at the half. Greensboro was able to go on a 29-4 run in the third quarter to break the game open.

Alexiahonna Bush added 10 points. Shepherd led the team with 3 assists and 6 rebounds, while Tamara Blanton also pulled down 6 rebounds. Mikayla Seivers had 8 points and 2 steals.

Salem returns to the road on Wednesday at Randolph.
