Montgomery, AL-A strong second quarter led Huntingdon to a 72-59 USA South win over Salem. Sabrina Shepherd led the Spirits with 24 points. Salem falls to 7-14 overall and 4-7 in the USA South, while Huntingdon improves to 17-5 and 8-3. 

The first quarter was tight as the Spirits led 20-17. The Hawks were able to outscore Salem 21-5 in the second quarter to take a 38-25 halftime lead. The two teams scored the same amount in the second half.

Alexiahonna Bush had 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Mikayla Seivers had a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists. Hannah McBride led the team with 4 steals.

The Spirits play at Coventant on February 7th at 7:30.
