The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) has announced the 10 members of the 2016-17 College Division All-State Women's Basketball Team. Eight different North Carolina institutions were recognized on this year's teams.

Sabrina Shepherd, a senior at Salem College, was selected to the College Division 2nd Team. Shepherd led the Spirits in scoring and was second overall in scoring in the USA South. She was also selected to the USA South West Division 2nd Team. Shepherd scored her 1,000th career point in her final game for Salem in the USA South Tournament.

University of Mount Olive led the way with three total selections, while Barton College, Brevard College, Guilford College, Johnson C. Smith University, Salem College, Shaw University and Wingate University all placed a student-athlete on one of the two all-state teams.

Mount Olive junior Felecity Havens earned first-team honors with season averages of 16.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. She was a member of the Conference Carolinas All-Conference First Team and her 15 total double-doubles were the third most in the country.

Barton's Kianna Wynn was named a first team member and gained Conference Carolinas First Team All-Conference accolades as well. The sophomore led her team in scoring at 18.4 points per game, while pulling down 10.4 rebounds per contest, ranking her third overall in the conference. She shot 55.1 percent from the field and recorded 20 double-doubles over 30 games during the season.

Brevard's Madison Lenox and Wingate's Marta Miscenko rounded out the first team selections for the NCCSIA as both competitors were honored as all-conference players in the South Atlantic Conference.

Miscenko averaged 13.8 points per game, 9.8 rebounds per game and 2.3 blocks in 30 games. She had 15 double-doubles this year, while shooting at a 48.3 percent clip from the floor and producing 16 double-doubles.
