Brianne Mack Hired as Basketball Graduate Assistant

Winston-Salem, NC-Salem College Basketball Head Coach has announced the hiring of Brianne Mack to her coaching staff as the new graduate assistant for the program. Mack comes to Salem after being a member of the basketball team at NCAA DI member Western Carolina, where she also spent time as an intern.

"I am excited about the hire of Bri Mack, as in her short time with the program we've hit the ground running," said Mohney. "She truly embodies what Salem stands for and she brings an exuberant presence to the program."

Mack was a two-year captain on the court for the Catamounts. She also served on the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) at Western Carolina as a scholarship athlete. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.

Mack spent parts of two years in Cullowhee as an intern for the WCU Catamount Club and Catamount Communications. She was taked with social media initiatives and branding, as well as setting up events during that time.

Mohney said, "while she is earning her masters at Salem, I am eager to see her practice these lessons with our current and future student athletes. With Bri on our staff we will be looking to make big strides."
