Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College lacrosse team lost at home to Brevard 26-0. Hannah Ostlund had 13 saves in net to lead the Spirits. The Spirits are now 0-5, while Brevard improves to 1-4.
Brevard jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half. They scored 12 second half goals. Brevard held a 44-9 shot advantage, 20-6 draw control advantage, and 10-4 ground ball advantage. Cassidy Matlock led the team with 5 shots. Logan Bowling added 3 shots.
The Spirits will host Bridgewater in non-conference action on Saturday at 3:00.
