Lacrosse Drops Game at Meredith

Raleigh, NC-The Salem College lacrosse team lost 24-0 at Meredith in USA South conference action. The Avenging Angels are the defending champions of the conference and currently in first place. Salem falls to 1-6 in the USA South and 2-12 overall, while Meredith falls improves to 8-0 and 11-3.

Meredith jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first 10 minutes. They held a 15-0 lead at the half. Meredith outscored Salem 9-0 in the second half.

Logan Bowling led the team with 2 draw controls. Hannah Ostlund had a team-high 3 ground balls. Ostlund finished with 11 saves. Meredith out-shot Salem 46-1.

Salem will return home for their final 2 regular season games this weekend. The Spirits will host Piedmont on Saturday and Averett on Sunday.
