Lacrosse Loses at Home to Piedmont

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College lacrosse team fell 16-3 at home today against Piedmont. Collette Vladimery scored twice for Salem. The Spirits falls to 2-13, while the Lions improve to 10-6.

Salem fell behind 14-0 at the half. Salem picked up their play in the second half and outscored the Lions 3-2 for the half. Vladimery scored her first goal with 20 minutes left in the second half. She scored again with 10 minutes remaining on an assist by Madison McCarthy. Allix Kean finished off the scoring with 7 minutes remaining. 

Hannah Ostlund finished with 7 saves in goal. Shayna Haith had 2 ground balls for Salem. Salem was 6 for 7 on clears.

The Spirits will play their final regular season game of the season tomorrow against Averett at 3:00.
