GSAC Cross Country Runner of the Week – Audrey Wierda of Salem

Audrey Wierda, a junior from Greenville, Mich., has been an exceptional runner for Salem College Cross Country. Wierda is the athlete that extends herself to not only better herself but her entire team. She has consistently been the Spirits second and third finisher for Salem College but that does not put in to affect the progress she had made.  At the Greensboro Invitational, she finished third for the Spirits with a time of 22:17, a PR for the 2014 season. Wierda ended her final run of 2014 with a 22:25 5k time at the ESPN Disney Cross Country Classic.
