Winston-Salem, NC-Thomas Moore has been promoted to the top soccer assistant for Salem College for the upcoming 2014 season. Moore will enter his third season as an assistant. The Spirits have gone 31-7-3 during his first two seasons.

Moore first worked with Salem as a volunteer assistant in 2012, where the team won the Great South Regular Season Championship. He was moved to a paid assistant in 2013, and the team won the GSAC Regular Season and Tournament and advanced to the NCAA DIII Tournament.

"I am excited about Thomas moving up and taking a more active role with the team," said Head Coach Jay Callahan. "He has been very dedicated to the team in his first two years, and I look forward to continue to watch him grow as a coach here."

Moore will work with the field players at practice and games. He will also be involved in running the recruiting ID Camps that Salem will offer this year.
