Soccer earns 5th-Straight Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The NSCAA annually recognizes college and high school soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. The NSCAA honors programs that post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year. Salem had a team grade point average of 3.4.

Salem was first eligible for the award during the 2010-2011 school year. They have won the honor every year they have been eligible. The Spirits are one of less than 200 programs out of over 1400 women's soccer programs that have won it each of the last five years.
