Decatur, GA-The Salem College soccer team and UC Santa Cruz battled back and forth in the Great South Championship game, and after 110 minutes neither team could score. Santa Cruz advanced with a 4-3 penalty kick shootout advantage. Salem finishes their season with a 15-2-1 record. The Spirits also end their play in the Great South conference with a 28 game unbeaten streak. Seniors Jocelyn Evans, Heather Huffman, and Paige Ketchum were selected to the GSAC All-Tournament team.
