Morgan Canepa selected to All-South Region Soccer Team

Kansas City, MO-Morgan Canepa was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-South Region team for the second straight year. The junior defender from Elko, NV helped lead Salem to a 15-2-1 overall record and their fourth-straight Great South Regular Season Title. 

Canepa started all 18 games for the Spirits and played more minutes than anybody on the team. She scored 1 goal and had 3 assists as a defender. Canepa was selected to the Great South All-Conference team for the third-straight year. She helped anchor a defense that only allowed 0.81 goals against per game.

The NSCAA selects their all-region teams through votes by coaches in each region. There are 54 schools in the South region.
