USA South Soccer Semifinals Set

(FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - The 2016 USA South Women's Soccer Tournament quarterfinals took place on Saturday, October 29 as three of the four higher seeds prevailed. The two top divisional seeds, East number-one Meredith and West number-one Salem, posted shutouts. The second-seed in the East, Methodist needed double-overtime to advance while West third-seed Piedmont pulled an upset.

The tournament will now shifts to the campus of Meredith College for the semifinals and finals on Fridayand Saturday, November 4-5. Both Meredith and Salem are both the same divisional seed number, however the tournament semifinals and final will head to the East due to a predetermined rotation.
