SALISBURY, Md. - The Salem College soccer team started off the 2018 season on the road at Salisbury where the Sea Gulls won the contest 2-0.
First Half
The two teams would stay scoreless until the 19th minute as Salisbury claimed their first goal of the season. The two teams would trade shots on frame for another 20 minutes before the Sea Gulls would go up 2-0 over Salem.
Second Half
Within the first five minutes, Salem had booted four goalward, but could not get it across the line. Hannah Wagner made her 11th save of the contest deflecting the ball away in the final minute of the contest.
Salem Standouts
-The 11 saves for Wagner mark a career best for the junior keeper.
-Senior Maddie Crumpton had five shots with three on frame.

The soccer team is back on the field tomorrow at 3 p.m. taking on St. Thomas at Salisbury University as part of the Salisbury University Classic.
