Tennis defeats Wesleyan in Great South Action

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College tennis team dominated Wesleyan for the second time this season. They were able to celebrate their seniors with a 9-0 win. Salem is now 6-7 overall and 2-2 in the GSAC.

Kerri Morgan, Samantha Story, and Ayla Pruitt were all celebrated following the game. They also all won all of their matches. Morgan won at #1 doubles and #2 singles. Pruitt won at #6 singles and #3 doubles. Story won at #5 singles.

"We had a great day of celebration of our seniors," said Head Coach Kevin Fleck. "Our team was very focused and got the job done. I'm proud of our seniors and what they have accomplished."

The Spirits will head to Macon, GA this weekend for the Great South conference tournament. The brackets will be released later this week.

Coach Fleck said, "We are excited with the way we are playing heading into the conference tournament."
