Decatur, GA-The Salem College tennis team exceeded expectations this springby winning the Great South Regular Season Title. The team went 4-0 during Great South play, and they went 10-4 overall. The 2014 Great South Tournament will be hosted at Agnes Scott this weekend.

Salem will take on Trinity Washington in the quarterfinals on Friday at 10:00 am. Trinity is currently 0-8 overall. The Spirits are led by Andrea Akers (Pinnacle, NC), who has played at number one singles and doubles all year. If the Spirits win, they will take on the winner of the Agnes Scott vs. Wesleyan game in the semifinals on Saturday.
