Peace College traveled to Winston-Salem Tuesday evening to play the Spirits of Salem College in a non-conference volleyball contest. The veteran Pacer team defeated the Spirits in three straight sets: 13-30, 16-30, 28-30.

Shakila Springs, a first-year student-athlete from Glen High School in Winston-Salem led the Spirits with 4 kills, 4 blocks and 2 aces. Kelly Moose (Conover, NC) had 7 digs, 5 kills and 2 aces. Alexis Means (Durham, NC) recorded 5 digs and 2 aces.

Salem will travel on October 12 to play Ferrum College at 7 pm.
