Winston-Salem, NC - The Salem College volleyball team lost to Emory and Henry tonight in four games (25-21, 14-25, 25-10, 25-9). The team honored Katie Lineberger (Maiden, NC) for her last home game at Salem. Salem's record drops to 13-20, while Emory and Henry improves to 19-6.

Lineberger led the team on the night with 16 digs, 1 block, and 13 kills. Christine Tillman (King, NC) and Stephanee Thibodeaux (Jacksonville, NC) each had 11 digs for the Spirits. Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) had the most assists with 27 and aces with 2. Khadija Layne (Dorcester, MA) also had a strong match with 10 digs and 9 kills.

Salem returns to action tomorrow as they travel to Johnson C. Smith at 6:00.
