Maher, Tillman, and Roppolo selected to GSAC Volleyball All-Conference teams

LaGrange, GA-Christine Tillman, Sara Maher, and Randi Roppolo were selected to the Great South Athletic All-Conference teams for volleyball. Tillman and Maher were placed on the All-Conference first teams, and Roppolo was placed on the All-Freshman team. The three were major parts of Salem finishing fourth place in the GSAC this season.

Tillman, a junior from King, NC, played as a middle blocker for the Spirits this season. She was selected as the GSAC Player of the Week once this season. Tillman led the team with 299 kills and 77 blocks. She was second on the team with 222 digs and 26 service aces.

Maher, a sophomore from Longmont, CO, played as Salem's setter this season. She led the team with 627 set assists and 35 service aces. She was selected to the Greensboro College All-Tournament team earlier in the year. 

Roppolo, a first year from Weeki Wachee, FL, played as an outside hitter and occasional setter. She was second on the team with 154 kills and 50 set assists. 

LaTricia Maye (Vestavia Hills, AL) joined Tillman and Maher on the GSAC All-Academic team. To be placed on the all-academic team, you must be a sophomore and obtain a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
