Volleyball dominates Wesleyan in GSAC action

Winston-Salem, NC- The Salem College volleyball team dominated Georgia Wesleyan to improve their record to 2-1 in the Great South Athletic Conference. Salem defeated Wesleyan in 3 sets (25-4, 25-4, 25-11). Randi Roppolo (Weeki Wachee, FL) had a great day with 8 service aces, 15 assists, and 2 kills. Salem improves to 4-9 on the season.

Salem dominated the first two sets of play, only giving up 8 total points in both sets. Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) had 9 assists and 2 service aces on the day. Christine Tillman (King, NC) and Khadija Layne (Dorchester, MA) each had 7 kills to lead the Spirits. Allegra Thomson (Dalzell, SC) had 4 aces.

Salem returns to action next weekend when they head to Lynchburg, VA for the Sweet Briar Quad-Match.
