Maryville, TN-The Salem College volleyball team lost in the Great South Athletic Conference (GSAC) semifinals to number one seeded Maryville College (25-12, 25-13, 25-13).  Maryville went on to win the conference championship against Piedmont. Randi Roppolo (Weeki Wachee, FL) had an excellent match with 10 kills, 2 service aces, and 13 digs. Salem finishes the season with a 11-18 record.

Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) once again led the Spirits with 11 set assists. Khadija Layne (Dorchester, MA) and Christine Tillman (King, NC) each had 4 kills for the Spirits. Tillman also had 2 blocks and 6 digs in the match.
