Volleyball falls to Peace at home

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team fought back from a 2-0 deficit to take the third set, but Peace held on in the fourth to win the match (16-25, 18-25, 25-13, 14-25). Christine Tillman (King, NC) continued her excellent play with 17 kills, 9 digs, and 6 blocks. Salem drops to 3-3 with the loss, and Peace improves to 4-2. 

Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) had 37 assists on the night. Khadija Layne (Dorchester, MA) led the team with 16 digs, and she also had 10 kills. Lee Ann Holmes (Wilmington, OH) had the only service ace on the day for the Spirits.

Salem returns to action tomorrow night as they head to Methodist University at 7:00.
