Fayetteville, NC- The Salem College volleyball team lost on the road tonight to Methodist University (18-25, 15-25, 16-25). Alyssa Alcos (Jacksonville, FL) had a strong night with 7 digs to lead the Spirits. Salem falls to 3-4 with the loss and Methodist improves to 4-0. 

Salem started out strong in the first set with the score eventually being tied at 18. Methodist was able to score the last 7 points of that set. Christine Tillman (King, NC) and Khadija Layne (Dorchester, MA) each had 6 kills for Salem. Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) had 12 assists, and Randi Roppolo (Weeki Wachee, FL) had 5 digs.

Salem returns to action this weekend when they play in the Greensboro College Tourney.
