Maryville, TN-The Salem College volleyball team split a pair of GSAC matches against LaGrange and Maryville. The Spirits beat LaGrange in 5 sets (25-15, 25-21, 22-25, 24-26, 15-11). Salem lost in three sets to host Maryville (13-25, 15-25, 10-25). Salem improves their season record to 6-15.

Christine Tillman (King, NC) led the Spirits on the day with 24 kills, 20 digs, and 8 blocks. Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) had 42 set assists in the two matches. Khadija Layne (Dorchester, MA) led the Spirits on the day with 35 digs and 3 service aces. Randi Roppolo (Weeki Wachee, FL) had a strong two matches with 14 kills and 16 digs.

Salem returns to action this Thursday when they head to Peace College at 7:00 pm.
