Patton High's Causby commits to play volleyball at Salem

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball program is pleased to announce that Courtney Causby has committed to attend Salem next fall. Causby played middle attacker for Coach Serena Fuller and Morgan Miller at Patton High School in Morganton, NC for four years. The Spirits volleyball team is coming off of two consecutive fourth-place finishes in the Great South Athletic Conference. 

Causby was a three time all-conference selection for the Panthers and was the team most valuable player twice. She was selected as the South Mountain Athletic Conference (SMAC) Player of the Year in 2009-10. Causby helped her team to the SMAC Championship in 2009-2010. She is the daughter of Amy Causby and Fred Causby Jr.

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772.
