Volleyball comes up short in 3-1 loss against Peace

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team fell short in a home non-conference loss against Peace College. The Spirits fell to the Pacers 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 20-25, 16-25). The match was the last home match for senior Christine Tillman (King, NC). Tillman has been a leader in most statistical categories for the Spirits over her four years. Salem falls to 8-14 with the loss.

Tillman had a very strong last home match in the Salem Gym. She led the team with 16 kills and 2 blocks. She also was second on the team in the match with 13 digs.

Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) led the Spirits with 35 set assists. Katie O'Leary (Seldovia, AK) had a strong night with 9 kills. Randi Roppolo (Weeki Wachee, FL) led Salem with 15 digs.

Salem returns to action when they travel to Maryville to take on the Scots and also Covenant on Friday.
