Former star-player Tillman returns to volleyball staff

Winston-Salem, NC-Christine Tillman has been hired for her second stint as an assistant for the volleyball program. Tillman was a graduate of West Stokes High School where she played volleyball all four years.  She went on to play at Salem College between 2007 and 2010, where she became a two-time All Association of Division III Independents All-Conference Player, two-time Great South All-Conference Player, and two- time GSAC All Academic member. 

She holds records in the program for career kills, aces, blocks, and digs as well as the single season record for kills and blocks. After graduating from Salem, Tillman had the opportunity to travel overseas to play in the Global Challenge in Croatia, where her team was coached by Head Coach Dana Wall. Tillman then went on to be the assistant coach at Salem College for the 2011 season, and is now the assistant volleyball coach at West Stokes High School. She is planning to start her 6th year of coaching juniors club volleyball under the direction of Dana Wall.
