Winston-Salem, NC- Incoming first-year volleyball player, Taylor Rhodes has just returned from an International Volleyball Tournament. The 2013 European Global Challenge was held in Pula, Croatia for the ninth year in a row. Rhodes' team, “Nfinity,” competed against youth teams from Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Prior to the tournament, the team trained in Italy and had matches against an Italian team and Team Volley-Plus from Belgium. Rhodes participated in the tournament as a Libero, but will be playing more than one position this fall. “Taylor will be an asset to us as a setter, hitter and defensive specialist,” says Head Salem Coach Dana Wall. “She is a well-rounded player that will add a lot of dimension to our Salem College team.”
