Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team lost in three sets of non-conference play against Guilford College. Guilford won 25-18, 25-15, 25-15. Michelle Morgan (Chattanooga, TN) led the Spirits with 5 kills. Salem falls to 1-9 for the season.

The first set went back and forth, before Guilford was able to pull away at the end. The Quakers were able to take control of sets two and three early.

Chelsea Jones (Glade Valley, NC) led Salem with 14 set assists and she also had 4 digs. Taylor Rhodes (Jamestown, NC) and Zy Henderson (Spartanburg, SC) each had 11 digs, and Rhodes had 4 kills.

The Spirits head to cross-town rivals Piedmont Baptist on September 24th at 7:00.
