Bridgewater, VA-The Salem College volleyball team lost two non-conference matches on the road to Bridgewater and Washington & Lee. The Spirits fell to Bridgewater 0-3 (15-25, 13-25, 23-25). They dropped their match to Washington & Lee 0-3 (12-25, 7-25, 8-25). Roslyn Nixon (Wilson, NC) led the team with 16 kills in the two matches. Salem falls to 6-13 overall.

Zy Henderson (Spartanburg, NC) led the Spirits in digs for both matches. She had 12 digs against W & L, and she had 14 against Bridgewater. Chelsea Jones (Glade Valley, NC) led the Spirits with 35 total set assists on the day.

Salem looks to split the season series with Guilford when they travel to Greensboro on the 24th.
