"We begin the season with three GSAC All-Conference players and the Conference Championship MVP in our starting line-up,” said second-year Head Coach Dana Wall. “Chelsea Jones (Glade Valley, NC), Michelle Morgan (Chattanooga, TN), Roslyn Nixon (Wilson, NC) and Zy Henderson (Spartanburg, NC) will be the nucleus of our team and all know what it takes to get the job done.

The squad begins Great South conference play on September 28th when they host Wesleyan College. They play nine matches against USA South opponents, and five matches against ODAC teams.

“We have a solid crew of returnees in Chanice Williams (Newark, NJ), Brandy Bednorz (Houston, TX) and Amber Bass (Clinton, NC), who now have the experience of winning a Conference Championship and playing in the NCAA Regionals,” said Wall. “I am excited about our two first-year recruits and expect that Olivia Newbern (Barco, NC) and Taylor Rhodes (Jamestown, NC) will immediately add depth and dimension to our team.  We have our work cut out for us this season with a very tough schedule, so we will have to work hard every day to win."
